Top 20 New Luxury Hotel Openings 2024

We're excited by the many wonderful new luxury hotels and resorts opening in 2024. Here are our picks, all of which our TravelSort Clients will enjoy special benefits and perks at:

1. Four Seasons Cabo del Sol: Early 2024

At the sixth Four Seasons in Mexico, enjoy swimmable beaches in addition to resort pools, private cabanas, and dining right on the beach. There will also be a spa, private golf club and amenities for families, including the complimentary Four Seasons Kids for All Seasons kids' club for resort guests.

2. Cheval Blanc Seychelles: Fall 2024

A new Cheval Blanc is always cause for celebration, especially when designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, who also designed Cheval Blanc Randheli.

3. Singita Milele, Serengeti, Tanzania: May 2024

Singita Milele will be Singita's new five suite private villa in the Singita Grumeti reserve in the Serengeti, which includes Singita Sasakwa and Singita Sabora Tented Camp, among others. It will start welcoming guests from May (just in time for the Great Migration). Guests keen to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, elephants and more are in the hands of expert guides for their game drives, but they can also relish a quiet moment in the villa's infinity pool or private jacuzzi, work out in the fitness center, and view their favorite film in the movie room.

4. Soneva Secret, Maldives: February 2024

Soneva Secret is located in Haa Dhaalu Atoll, on the remote island of Dhipparufushi, about a 75 minute seaplane flight from Male Airport MLE or about a 30 minute seaplane flight from Soneva Jani in the Noonu Atoll. With only 14 overwater and island villas, each with a dedicated team of three including a personal chef, Soneva Secret promises a wonderfully luxurious and personalized stay.

5. Six Senses Kyoto: Spring 2024

The new Six Senses Kyoto is located close to the Myoho-in temple and Tokyokuni-Jinja shrine, not far from the Four Seasons Kyoto, and about an 18-20 minute walk to Gion, home to Yasaka shrine, Maruyama Park, and the city's historical entertainment district.

6. Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Costa Rica: November 2024

Nekajui (pronounced nek-ah-wee), which means “garden” in Chorotegan, the language of an indigenous tribe that once lived in the area, will be located on Pochote Bay on the Peninsula Papagayo, in close proximity to the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica and the Andaz Costa Rica.

7. Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, Austria: Spring 2024

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, with its scenic location in the mountains, is only a twenty minute drive from picturesque Salzburg. The refreshed hotel (previously part of Luxury Collection) will feature 98 guest rooms, including 46 suites and six chalets, as well as be home to world-class restaurants and lounges, Asaya, Rosewood's integrative well-being concept, with indoor and outdoor pools.

8. Four Seasons Hotel Osaka: Summer 2024

General Manager Alastair McAlpine (previously at Four Seasons Lanai) will lead Four Seasons' fourth hotel in Japan, which will have 175 guest rooms and suites, including a Japanese-style floor where rooms and suites have tatami mat floors. Dining options will include sushi restaurant Sushi O; signature Chinese restaurant Jiang-Nan Chun; drinking destination Bar BOTA; Jardine, the all-day French bistro; CHA, the tea lounge; and FARINE, the bakery.

9. One&Only Kea Island, Greece: May 2024

The second One&Only in Greece, after the recent opening of One&Only Aesthesis, will be in the Cyclades, with 63 stand alone villas, all with a private pool and sun deck.

10. Collegio alla Querce, an Auberge Resort, Florence

Collegio alla Querce will be Auberge Resort's first property in Italy and its third in Europe. It's in scenic Tuscany, three miles from the heart of Florence, in a 16th century estate that's being meticulously renovated. There will be 61 guest rooms and 20 suites; a fitness center, spa, and outdoor pool; a glass-enclosed garden room for relaxed lunches, a moody bar and cigar lounge and a dedicated enoteca, and terraced baroque gardens to enjoy.

11. Six Senses Whiteley London

Six Senses London will open with 110 guest rooms and suites in a Grade II Heritage building. Highlights include a 3500 square feet (325 square meters) wellness center with fitness facilities, a 65-foot (20-meter) indoor swimming pool, the Alchemy Bar, and a relaxation room with vaulted ceilings.

13. Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada: May 2024

The first Six Senses in the Caribbean, the new resort, set on 38 acres that recall a Caribbean village, will host 56 guest rooms, 7 one-bedroom villas and 5 two-bedroom villas, set along the lakefront promenade and beach.

14. Corinthia, Rome: Spring 2024

The Corinthia Rome joins several recent and planned Rome luxury hotel openings, including the Six Senses Rome, The Rome EDITION, and the forthcoming Four Seasons Vatican City / Rome, expected to debut in 2025. The Corinthia Rome will be located by Parliament Square in a building that previously housed the Central Bank of Italy. The hotel will feature 60 luxury rooms and suites, restaurants, bars, a central courtyard garden and spa.

15. Park Hyatt London River Thames: Late 2024

The first Park Hyatt in the UK, the new Park Hyatt London River Thames will be located in the Nine Elms development, a redeveloped residential and business district in the Battersea area of the city. The Battersea Power Station (Northern Line) is only a 4 minute walk from the hotel, making it a 15 minute journey to Leicester Square Tube Station, which is walking distance from West End theaters, the Royal Opera House, The National Gallery, and Trafalgar Square.

16. Aman's JANU, Tokyo: March 2024

Aman's Janu Tokyo is now accepting reservations for its March 2024 opening. The hotel, designed by Denniston, under the guidance of Jean-Michel Gathy, will be on floors 1–13 in the B-2 District Tower, completely separate from the Aman Residences, Tokyo, which will occupy floors 54-64 of the A District Tower. Higher category suites enjoy views of the Eiffel Tower-like Tokyo Tower.

17. Rosewood Amsterdam

Delayed from a previously anticipated 2023 opening, the Rosewood Amsterdam will be housed in the former Palace of Justice with wonderful views over one of the city’s most beautiful waterways and close to its most famous attraction. Amenities include three restaurants, one of them an Indian restaurant, bars, an indoor swimming pool, wellness and fitness center, and Sense, A Rosewood Spa.

18. Thompson Rome

Housed in a historic 1930s palazzo that was formerly the headquarters of the Italian Communist Party, the building will undergo an extensive renovation while preserving this piece of Italian history. There will be 70 rooms and suites and four restaurants, including a rooftop restaurant and terrace with a cocktail bar that will enjoy panoramic city views.

19. Ta'aktana, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Flores Island, Indonesia: Q2 2024

The northern coast of Flores island offers excellent scuba diving. Ta'aktana, near Komodo Airport (LBJ) is, as the name implies, the gateway to Komodo National Park. The resort is the first internationally branded resort in the area.

The Vineta, after an extensive renovation, will be Oetker Collection's 12th hotel, offering 41 spacious rooms and suites, the iconic Leopard Lounge, a new Mediterranean-inspired indoor-outdoor poolside restaurant, and outdoor swimming pool.
