The central location is about a 15 minute walk to the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank House, or the Stedelijk Museum of contemporary art.

The new Rosewood Amsterdam will have 134 guest rooms and suites, many of them enjoying views across the two closest canals, other with views of the hotel's quiet internal courtyard or neighboring rooftops.

Hotel amenities are to include three restaurants, one of them an Indian restaurant, and bars. The hotel will have an indoor swimming pool, wellness and fitness center, and Sense, A Rosewood Spa which will include ayurvedic treatments as well as traditional massage and facial offerings.

Amsterdam's Studio Concrete will design the hotel’s main restaurant, which will offer outdoor seating in addition to interior space.  London interior design firm Sagrada will design an intimate bar in vibrant colors and high-end finishes, with stunning views overlooking the canal.

Unique decorative details in the hotel’s public spaces will honor the spirit of both the building and city. The library will also host an Indian Business Club which will stimulate high-level business and networking in an exclusive setting.
