Aloha! I'm Hilary, and I originally hail from Hawaii, but have lived in Russia, Norway, Japan, the UK, and even Kyrgyzstan. I now live in NYC, and love helping clients with luxury travel, from dream honeymoons in Maldives and Bora Bora to African safaris, luxury cruises, and romantic or family trips to my home state, Hawaii.

Exotic destinations can mean long flights, so I also specialize in earning and redeeming frequent flyer miles and points for their highest value use: international first class and business class, where the redemption value per mile or point can be 10 cents or more.

For TravelSort Clients that need help redeeming their miles, I offer a paid award booking service exclusively for trips where a specific minimum amount in paid hotel stays or cruises is booked with TravelSort. For certain trips this service is even complimentary.

The best luxury hotels in the world, however, cannot be booked with points–for example, Aman Resorts, Cheval Blanc, Four Seasons, The Peninsula, Oetker Collection, Mandarin Oriental, and more.

If you’re looking for my luxury hotel reviews, you can find them under Hotels, organized by geographic area. If you'd like to enjoy top priority for hotel upgrades, you can view the Preferred Partner Luxury Hotel Programs TravelSort belongs to, and the benefits of becoming a TravelSort Client.

Dear Hilary, Can I earn the Lufthansa Miles & More credit card bonus multiple times? How? Lufthansa just “expired” 26,000 of my miles recently! I was unaware that I needed to make a monthly purchase on my credit card to keep the miles from expiring… Alternatively, do you know how I could get my Lufthansa miles back? VERY frustrated, Kim J

Kim, sorry to hear your Lufthansa Miles & More miles expired; they expire 36 months after earning, except for elite members and those putting monthly spend on their Miles & More credit card. And sadly, unlike KrisFlyer miles, they can’t be extended by paying some money.

Hilary, unfortunately the link
“Preferred Partner Luxury Hotel Programs” above is broken and producing small error code.
Best,
Liz

Hi Hilary, my daughter and I do a lot of travel that meet your requirements for “new client” and we both need to arrange for a 3 week trip to France. Can you help us with this?
