Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo del Sol is now open for reservations starting May 1, 2024, the opening pushed back from an originally planned mid-2023 debut. It will be the 6th Four Seasons in Mexico, after Four Seasons Punta Mita, Four Seasons Mexico City, the Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, the Four Seasons Tamarindo and Naviva at Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Getting to Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol
The new Four Seasons at Cabo Del Sol will be located about a 1.5 hour drive from the Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas resort, and a 40-50 minute drive from Los Cabos Airport (SJD). It's a 12-minute drive from The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, which we previously reviewed. There are nonstop flights to SJD from Austin AUS, Atlanta ATL, Chicago MDW, Dallas DFW, Denver, Houston IAH, Los Angeles LAX, New York JFK, Newark EWR, Portland PDX, Salt Lake City SLC, San Diego SAN, San Francisco SFO, Seattle SEA, and other cities, some of them seasonal, such as Charlotte CLT, Las Vegas LAS, Minneapolis MSP, Toronto YYZ, Vancouver YVR, etc.

Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol Rooms, Suites and Private Retreats
The entirely new build resort and private residences will be situated on over 50 acres of oceanfront in The Cove Club, a new private community. The resort will have 96 rooms and suites, and there will also be 61 private residences, villas, and estates.
Initially, the two available room types that can be reserved are an Ocean View Casita Room or an Ocean View Casita Room with Plunge Pool. The Ocean View Casita Room is 1173 sq. ft. with a king bed and sofabed, perfect for a couple or for a small family of 2 adults and one child. Note that the other room types have already been built and are in the final stages of quality assurance and Four Seasons sign-off, prior to being made available to reserve.

The Ocean View Casita Room with Plunge Pool is 1765 sq. ft., with a heated plunge pool on the terrace. Both casita types enjoy an outdoor shower, in addition to a full indoor bathroom, and glass doors between the living area and terrace fully retract into the walls for effortless indoor-outdoor living.
In addition to the Four Seasons, Oakmont Corporation, which owns Cabo Del Sol, will also be opening a Park Hyatt, which is also slated to open in 2024.

Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo del Sol Dining and Restaurants
The resort will have an array of dining options, including Mediterranean favorites at Palmerio; Nikkei Japanese-Peruvian cuisine at Cayao by Richard Sandoval; casual Baja Mexican fare at oceanfront Coraluz bar and lounge, with a menu curated by Richard Sandoval; the atmospheric Sora Rooftop Bar with its stunning sunset views; and drinks at La Casona Bar with its ocean views or at Bar Brisal, by the adults-only pool. Alternatively, savor a meal in the privacy of your casita via in-room dining. Our clients can enjoy their complimentary breakfast via in-room dining, as a Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefit.

Cabo Del Sol Beach, Pools, Golf Course
Four Seasons Cabo del Sol guests enjoy access to the exclusive Cove Club, a private golf and beach club, including its Cabo Del Sol Course designed by Fry Straka, a stunning oasis framed by the desert and mountains and featuring ocean views from every hole.

While many resorts, even luxury resorts in the Cabo area do not have a swimmable beach, the Cove Club enjoys swimmable beaches, and the beach club will also offer a resort pool, private cabanas, and dining right on the beach. There will also be a spa, private golf club and amenities for families, including the complimentary Four Seasons Kids for All Seasons kids' club for resort guests.

Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas General Manager
General Manager Richard Raab will lead the new resort's team. He's a native of Sweden and a Four Seasons veteran, having spent 25 years with the brand and managed the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay and the former Four Seasons St. Petersburg, in addition to postings at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Nevis, and Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, among others.
