Fly British Airways' Club Suite to UK or Europe from 33,000 Citi points each way, thanks to a 30% Citi transfer bonus to JAL Mileage Bank, or from just 42,000 JAL miles each way. Currently there's good availability from many U.S. cities, although note that if you instead book using British Airways Executive Club Avios, BA does charge high taxes/fees on awards. Best availability is November 2026-May 2027.
With Japan Airlines, your JAL Mileage Bank account must have been open for at least 1 week before you can redeem miles, and most points currencies don't transfer to JAL; only Bilt, Capital One at a reduced ratio, Rove miles, and now Citi points.

Where to Stay in London
In London, The Emory, which opened in 2024 and is a sister hotel to The Berkeley, which we also recommend, is an excellent choice, especially in one of the suites with a view of Hyde Park.

Or for the best service, stay at The Beaumont, even though it doesn't have views to speak of.
