Four Seasons' Coronavirus Cancellation Policy has been the most generous of any luxury hotel brand, permitting free changes and cancellation up until 24 hours prior to arrival for most of its reservations, including advance purchase reservations. There were, however, exceptions for certain holiday season dates and certain higher category suites and villas.
The good news is that the deadline to make reservations with this generous COVID-19 cancellation policy has been extended to December 31, 2020, from its previous deadline of September 30, 2020.
The bad news is that the generous 24 hour cancellation policy no longer applies to advance purchase reservations: these remain wholly non-refundable, although most properties will permit a date change.

Most Popular Four Seasons Hotels During COVID-19
Most of our clients are based in the U.S., so sadly, Four Seasons hotels in many international destinations are out of the question for now due to border closures. Here are the most popular Four Seasons hotels and resorts our U.S. based clients are reserving now (keep in mind all Hawaii properties are being reserved for future stays, after Hawaii Reopens on October 15 with a Negative Coronavirus Test Allowing Visitors to Skip Quarantine).

Bottom line, it's good that it's still possible to reserve Four Seasons hotels and have up to 24 hours prior to arrival to change or cancel in most cases, with the exception of higher category suites, holiday or high demand periods, and advance purchase rates. As always, check with us or your Four Seasons Preferred Partner advisor for the exact cancellation and refund policies before booking, especially when a significant deposit or advance payment is required at time of booking.
