Top New Luxury Hotel Openings 2023

A Number of Luxury Hotels are Opening in 2023, including several from Six Senses, as well as Rosewood, The Peninsula, Oetker Collection, Mandarin Oriental, and Virgin Limited Edition. Many are in Europe, which for 2022 has been our clients' top international destination, due to stricter requirements for Asia (and Japan only recently reopening to independent visitors).

1. Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada: Q1 2023

The first Six Senses in the Caribbean, the Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada. Set on 38 acres, the resort will have 56 guest rooms, 7 one-bedroom villas and 5 two-bedroom villas, a swimming pool with swimup bar, Six Senses Spa (described below), the Great House with its Beach Dining Room and Bakery, Six Senses Spa, teen’s lounge and children’s play center as well as Grow With Six Senses activities.

2. The Peninsula London: Early 2023

We're especially excited about The Peninsula London, the second Peninsula hotel in Europe after The Peninsula Paris. Very centrally located at 1-5 Grosvenor Place, it's right near Hyde Park and and Buckingham Palace Gardens, only a 3 minute walk from the Hyde Park Corner Tube Station (Piccadilly Line). A 10 minute walk brings you to Buckingham Palace, and it's also walking distance to Harrods and other Knightsbridge shopping and dining. But what our clients really appreciate about The Peninsula hotels, in addition to wonderfully luxurious rooms and suites and bespoke service, is the ability to check-in early, with early check-in from 6am, so critical given the red eye flights to the UK from the U.S.

TravelSort Clients enjoy Peninsula PenClub benefits:

  • Top priority for a room upgrade, based on availability at check-in
  • Upgraded welcome amenities
  • Daily full breakfast for two
  • Peninsula Time flexible check-in and check-out
  • $100 dining credit
