These Top 10 New Virtuoso Luxury Hotels and Resorts, 2019 are chosen from luxury hotels and resorts that either recently joined Virtuoso or are new hotels opening later in 2019, as Virtuoso Preview properties.

1. Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas
While the resort isn't yet Virtuoso, it's expected to be. In any case, it can be reserved with Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits, which provide the best chance of an upgrade.
Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits include a $100 resort credit, and are combinable with an Experience More one-time $100 extra resort credit towards dining or spa services for stays until December 22, 2020.
2. Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Cabo
Cabo has been seeing incredible activity in terms of new luxury resorts. The Montage Los Cabos opened in mid-2018, while the new Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, as mentioned above, will open late 2019. Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is also slated to open later in 2019, and there's even a 4th night complimentary offer for November 1-December 19, 2019, that is combinable with the below Virtuoso benefits plus an additional $350 resort credit per stay.

3. Cheval Blanc St. Tropez, France
While I'd probably want to return to Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives before visiting its new acquisition in St. Tropez, the former La Residence de la Pinede will undoubtedly be an even more desirable haven in the South of France after the Cheval Blanc team completes its final renovations later in 2019. Its 3 Michelin star La Vague d'Or is a culinary draw in its own right.

5. Hotel de la Villa, Rome (Rocco Forte)
This new Rocco Forte hotel just opened in Rome a week ago, and is already getting great reviews. It's been some time since a new luxury hotel opened in Rome, so this is a very welcome addition to the Eternal City.

6. Six Senses Bhutan
The Six Senses Bhutan has finally opened three of its five lodges, Thimphu, Paro and Punakha, well led by GM Sally Baughen, whose prior experience includes Amansara, Amankila and Amanfayun, who has taken the reins from Mark Swinton, the Six Senses Bhutan's pre-opening GM. It's getting great reviews, and I'm looking forward to sending clients there later this year.

7. Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort
Located in the southern Maldives in the same Gaafu Alifu Atoll as the Park Hyatt Maldives, the Raffles Maldives recently underwent a complete renovation. Beach Villas are already open, but you'll need to wait until September or October 2019 to stay in an Overwater Villa.

9. Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Boston
Boston's last major luxury hotel opening was the Mandarin Oriental Boston, back in 2008, so the Four Seasons One Dalton is a keenly anticipated opening in a city that often is notoriously short of luxury hotel rooms during major sports events, conferences, university graduations and the like.
As always, it's best to reserve with Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits that include a $100 spa services credit, and there's an additional $100 spa service credit offer for stays between September 1 and December 31, 2019.
10. The Lodge at Blue Sky, Park City, Utah
This new luxury lodge is part of the Auberge Collection, and its setting outside Park City makes the most of the offerings of Blue Sky Ranch, from horseback riding and mountain biking in the summer to heli-skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
For 3+ night stays from June 21-December 18, 2019, there's an additional perk of either one complimentary yoga or guided meditation class for two people, once during stay; or a 60-minute complimentary massage for for two people, once during the stay. Either option is combinable with Virtuoso benefits.
