Hotel de la Ville Rooms and Suites

Hotel de la Ville has just over 100 rooms and suites, with their decor inspired by the era of the Grand Tour, that well-heeled young Europeans used to embark on as a rite of passage in the 17th and 18th centuries. Entry level Superior Rooms are 300 square feet, with a king bed or super king that can be separated into twin beds. The marble bathroom has a walk-in shower (but no bathtub) and the view is either of the hotel's inner courtyard or Via Sistina.

Premium Rooms are slightly larger, at 323 square feet, with similar views, but some of them have double sinks and separate soaking tubs, in addition to the walk-in shower.

I recommend jumping up a few room categories to the Deluxe Panoramic View Room, which is 377 square feet and enjoys its own private terrace with a stunning view of Rome. All of these rooms have both a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub.

Those who can splurge on a suite should consider the Panoramic Suite with Terrace (645 square feet + 269 sq. ft. terrace) or the Canova Suite, with its 753 square feet terrace and beautiful views of Rome, plus a sofa bed that can accommodate a third adult or child.

For the ultimate suite, reserve the Suite de la Ville, the hotel's Presidential Suite, accessed by a private elevator, with two lavish outdoor terraces, a sitting room, dining room, study, master bedroom, and 1.5 bathrooms.
