The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor Will Open August 16, 2024, after an extensive renovation of the former Hotel Formentor. TravelSort Clients enjoy Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits.
The historic property, which originally opened in 1929, is in a prime location on the Formentor Peninsula with a beautiful beach and private boat dock. This will be Four Seasons' second hotel in Spain, following the opening of Four Seasons Madrid in 2020, and one of only two Four Seasons beach resorts in Europe; the other is the Four Seasons Astir Palace, outside of Athens.

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor Location
The Four Seasons Mallorca's location on the Formentor Peninsula is about a 1 hour drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), which is connected by nonstop direct flights to London Gatwick and London City (British Airways), Madrid (Iberia), Frankfurt and Munich (Lufthansa), Geneva and Zurich (Swiss), Copenhagen and Stockholm (SAS), Vienna (Austrian Airlines), Paris CDG (seasonally, Air France), and a number of other European cities , some of them seasonal flights.
Just a short drive away is the scenic Cap de Formentor, the northernmost point of the island, home to a lighthouse, and a favorite spot for its sweeping panoramic views and beautiful sunset.
Also nearby, just a 5-minute drive, is a vineyard, where guests will be able to enjoy farm to table tastings.

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca Rooms and Amenities
The renovated resort will offer 110 rooms, including 31 suites, each with a private balcony, some with an ocean view and others with a forest view. Many also include a private plunge pool. At initial August 2024 opening, Garden View Rooms, Garden View with Plunge Pool Rooms, Garden View Suites, Pine View Suites, and Grand Sea View Suites are available.

Come March 2025, rooms will also include Pine View, Pine View with Plunge Pool, Sea View, and Grand Sea View, while suites will add Garden View Suites with Plunge Pool, Pine View Suites with Plunge Pool, and Sea View Suites.
Estudio Lamela and SCT Estudio de Arquitectura have overseen the renovations, with interior design by Gilles & Boissier, whose work includes The Baccarat Hotel in NYC, the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid, suites at the Mandarin Oriental Paris, and the upcoming Mandarin Oriental Rome.

Guests at the Four Seasons Mallorca will also enjoy an indoor restaurant, beachfront restaurant and café, and a poolside bar and grill, as well as a heated swimming pool, complimentary Kids for All Seasons kids' club, and two spa treatment rooms (full spa will open in 2025). Also opening in 2025 will be a teen center, a pastry shop, and ice cream parlor.

Four Seasons Mallorca Preferred Partner Benefits
As with other Four Seasons hotels and resorts, TravelSort Clients will enjoy Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits, with a resort credit that can be used either for dining or spa services, and for suite guests additional resort credit:
