1. Bulgari Ranfushi Maldives: 2027

Bulgari Resort Ranfushi Maldives will open in 2027 as the tenth Bulgari hotel and the second Bulgari resort, after the Bulgari Resort Bali. Located in Raa Atoll (also home to Joali and Joali Being), there will be 54 accommodations, designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Architects (Bulgari Hotel Roma, Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, Capella Kenting in Taiwan, among others). 33 are beach villas, each with a private pool; 20 are overwater villas; and for a splurge, the exclusive Bulgari Villa on its own private island.

2. Cheval Blanc Pitrizza, Sardinia: May 2027

Cheval Blanc is the LVMH's luxury hotel brand. Its seventh hotel, the newest opening following Cheval Blanc Seychelles and Cheval Blanc. With just 65 rooms, suites, and villas (the 16 villas will have private pools), it will be an exclusive and private retreat. There will also be two restaurants and a Guerlain Spa.

3. Four Seasons Caye Chapel, Belize: Q3 2027

The New Four Seasons Caye Chapel Belize, when it opens in Q3 2027, will be the first major luxury hotel brand in Belize, and will feature overwater villas, something that so far is only found at three other Four Seasons: Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa, and Four Seasons Bora Bora.

The private island of Caye Chapel is 280 acres, with 6 miles of white sand beaches. It's located 16 miles from Belize City, either a 10 minute flight or 30 minute boat ride. The island is next to the UNESCO World Heritage designated Belize Barrier Reef System, the largest reef system in the northern hemisphere. 10 percent of the island will remain a wildlife reserve and untouched, as part of conservation efforts.

4. Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina: Early 2027

Located in the iconic mountain town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Mandarin Oriental Cristallo in the Italian Alps will feature 83 elegantly appointed accommodations, many with balconies, including 30 spacious suites with beautiful views of the Dolomites. The UNESCO-listed destination is among the few Alpine resorts with guaranteed snow throughout the season, and features 745 miles of interconnected slopes.

5. The Park Gstaad, a Four Seasons Hotel: Summer 2027

The Park Gstaad Hotel, a Four Seasons Hotel will open in summer 2027, following extensive renovations, with 75 rooms and suites reimagined by French interior designer Joseph Dirand. During the winter months, Gstaad offers access to 136 miles (220 km.) of ski slopes at altitudes of up to 9842 feet (3000 meters), with equally beautiful settings in the summer that are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and golf.

6. Four Seasons Resort Dominican Republic at Tropicalia: Mid-2027

Set on pristine beachfront in Playa Esmeralda, on the southern coast of Samana Bay, about a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Punta Cana Airport (PUJ), the new resort, designed by Isay Weinfeld, features 95 guest rooms and suites steps from Playa Esmeralda’s white-sand beaches.

7. Rosewood Blue Palace Crete

Rosewood Blue Palace will open in 2027, following a renovation from its prior incarnation as part of the Luxury Collection. About a 1 hour drive from Heraklion Airport (HER), which is a 1 hour flight from Athens, the resort is located between the small fishing village of Plaka and the port of Elounda. The resort will be redesigned by the acclaimed Grecian firm, K-Studio (whose work includes the One&Only Aesthesis) and feature 154 rooms and suites, 85 of which will enjoy private pools for those seeking elevated seclusion.

8. Milaroca, a Belmond Resort, Riviera Nayarit

Milaroca, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Nayarit will be set on a 105-acre beachfront estate, about a 40-minute drive from Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR). The 57 guest accommodations include one-bedroom suites and three-bedroom villas, many of them with private plunge pools. The multiple dining venues will utilize ingredients from the property's organic farm.

9. The Nell New York: Fall 2027

The second Little Nell Hotel after the original, located in Aspen, Colorado, The Nell New York will have 134 rooms and suites located across nine floors (floors 8-16) of 10 Rockefeller Plaza. The property will feature an art collection showcasing both emerging and internationally recognized artists from New York and around the world.

The hotel's reception, lobby bar, and wine lounge (bringing The Little Nell's excellent wine program to New York) are expected to be on the 7th floor, with a fitness center and spa on the 8th floor. A signature fine-dining restaurant will open on the 17th floor above the hotel, showcasing views of Rockefeller Center and beyond.

10. Cambridge House, Auberge Collection, London: February 2027

Perfectly located in desirable Mayfair, this 18th-century Georgian mansion and former private home to a Prime Minister and the Duke of Cambridge is opening as the first Auberge Collection hotel in the UK. The £1 billion regeneration project will be home to 102 accommodations, 24 of them suites, as well as a signature restaurant and grill, Major's, The Reuben Bar, The Drawing Rooms for afternoon tea, and a three-level spa featuring a swimming pool and extensive hydrotherapy facilities.

11. Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti: Late 2026

Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti provides competition to the only other luxury hotel in the heart of Siena, the Grand Hotel Continental, which is also near the Piazza del Campo. 12. Four Seasons The Biltmore Santa Barbara: Early 2027

The Biltomore's reopening date has been pushed back from a previously anticipated 2026 reopening to early 2027. The hotel has been closed since 2020, during the pandemic. Enhancements include a wholly new adult pool, a 3557-square-foot free form family pool with a beach area and waterfall feature, and a 150-foot lazy river on the other side of the waterfall.

16. Mandarin Oriental Winter Palace Luxor: Mid-2027
