St. Regis London Opening in 2023

The St. Regis London Will Open in 2023, following a $122 million renovation of the Westbury Mayfair, a Luxury Collection Hotel. It will be the sixth St. Regis hotel in Europe, after the three St. Regis hotels in Florence, Rome, and Venice; the St. Regis Moscow Nikolskaya; and the St. Regis Palma de Mallorca in Spain. The hotel will have some stiff competition in the London luxury hotel market, given that The Peninsula London is opening in 2023 as well, Raffles London will open in late 2022, and the ultra luxury Cheval Blanc London Mayfair plans to open in late 2022 or early 2023. This is to say nothing of existing competitors such as The Connaught, Claridge's, and Four Seasons London at Park Lane.

St. Regis London Location

The St. Regis London's location in the former Westbury Mayfair is at 37 Conduit Street, a 4 minute walk from Brown's Hotel, a 7 minute walk from Claridge's and The Connaught, and walking distance from Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, West End Theatres, Green Park, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, and designer shopping. London Heathrow Airport is a 35 minute-1 hour drive, depending on traffic.

St. Regis London Rooms and Amenities

The St. Regis London, post-renovation, plans to offer 196 rooms and suites, which will be designed by Peter Newman-Earp of Morrison Design with interiors by Richmond International, whose projects include the Residences at the Four Seasons London at Trinity Square, The Langham London, The Langham Boston, Four Seasons Moscow, and The Rosewood Miramar Beach in Santa Monica, among others. Design plans include a signature restaurant, speakeasy jazz bar, fitness center and spa. The hotel's iconic Polo Bar will remain, and will serve a local twist on the Bloody Mary, the St. Regis Hotel's signature cocktail.
