LXR Bali to Open Summer 2023

An LXR Resort in Bali Will Open in Summer 2023, the first LXR resort in Southeast Asia, with its official name yet to be announced. LXR, one of Hilton's luxury brands, focuses on offering culturally rich, immersive experiences unique to each resort's location. LXR Resorts are part of Hilton Impresario, the preferred partner program for Hilton's luxury brands such as Waldorf Astoria and Conrad, so TravelSort Clients will enjoy perks that include an upgrade if available at check-in, daily breakfast for two, a $100 resort credit during the stay, and double Hilton Honors points.

Bali has reopened to fully vaccinated visitors with no quarantine apart from needing to wait in one's hotel room for negative results from the on-arrival COVID-19 test. There is also a required Day 3 covid test, and travelers must book at least 3 consecutive nights at a CHSE Certified Hotel.

LXR Bali Location

The new LXR Bali will be located in Uluwatu, on the cliffs above Melasti Beach, about a 45 minute drive from Denpasar Airport (DPS), depending on traffic. While we tend to recommend other destinations over Bali when it comes to beaches, Melasti Beach is one of the nicer ones in this part of Bali, and LXR will have dramatic views, perched 230 feet above the sea. The LXR Bali is about a 25 minute drive from Uluwatu Temple, about a 20 minute drive from Alila Villas Uluwatu, which we reserve for clients with Hyatt Prive benefits, a 25-30 minute drive from the Bulgari Resort Bali, which we reserve with Virtuoso benefits, and a 25-35 minute drive from the St. Regis Bali in Nusa Dua, which we reserve with STARS benefits.

LXR Bali Villas and Amenities

The new resort will have 72 suites and villas with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean; the local investor is PT Surya Semesta Internusa, which has other Bali resort investments, including Jumana Bali, formerly the Banyan Tree Ungasan Resort Bali.

Five dining venues and bars are planned, including a specialty restaurant, an all-day restaurant, and a beach club on Melasti Beach. Other amenities include a clifftop chapel, where guests can get married or renew wedding vows; a spa and fitness center; and a kids' club.
