The Nell Hotel will open in New York City in Fall 2027, the second Little Nell Hotel after the original, located in Aspen, Colorado. It will also be the only Relais & Châteaux hotel in New York City.
The Nell New York Location, Rooms, and Amenities
The Nell New York will have 134 rooms and suites located across nine floors (floors 8-16) of 10 Rockefeller Plaza, in a former office building that towers above the studios where NBC's Today show and Saturday Night Live are filmed. The Rockwell Group (Equinox Hotel, The New York EDITION, The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai, Nobu Hotel Barcelona, among others) is behind the boutique hotel's Art Deco grandeur. The property will feature an art collection showcasing both emerging and internationally recognized artists from New York and around the world.
The hotel's reception, lobby bar, and wine lounge (bringing The Little Nell's excellent wine program to New York) are expected to be on the 7th floor, with a fitness center and spa on the 8th floor. A signature fine-dining restaurant will open on the 17th floor above the hotel, showcasing views of Rockefeller Center and beyond.
The Nell New York, unlike The Little Nell in Aspen, will target business travelers as well as leisure guests. The new hotel's nearby luxury competitors include Baccarat Hotel New York, The Peninsula New York, and The Park Hyatt New York.
