While AMEX Membership Rewards points, Chase Ultimate Rewards points, Citi ThankYou points and some others can transfer to Aeroplan, we usually prefer to use Chase Ultimate Rewards points, because we can earn so many of them with 3X-5X category spend bonuses via our Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Freedom, and Ink Business cards.
It's also possible to reserve many more dates with Singapore KrisFlyer for 89,000 KrisFlyer miles, if you find saver award space. For transfers to KrisFlyer, we recommend AMEX Membership Rewards points, for example earned via the AMEX Blue Business Plus, as these usually transfer instantly to KrisFlyer. Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfers tend to take longer, 24-48 hours.
