Four Seasons Luxor and Four Seasons New Cairo Capital at Madinaty have been announced, bringing new luxury options to Egypt-bound travelers as of 2025, when both properties are expected to open.
Four Seasons New Cairo Capital at Madinaty Location
Madinaty is located about a 30-45 minute drive from Cairo Airport (CAI), depending on traffic. The area is a new development in the eastern suburbs, and thanks to the expansive grounds, set on 460 acres of parkland, will be far more resort-like than other Cairo options.

Four Seasons New Cairo Capital at Madinaty Amenities
The new hotel will include 346 rooms and suites, and extended families will be able to stay in some of the 107 Private Residences that are managed by Four Seasons.
Dining options will include a waterfront restaurant in the heart of the hotel, with additional al fresco, international and Egyptian-inspired restaurants also available, in addition to private dining.
Leisure and fitness opportunities will abound, with tennis and pickleball courts, other multi-sport courts, guided fitness classes as well as a fitness center, and a destination spa with private treatment rooms. World-class golfing is available off property at the Madinaty Golf Club's Trent Jones course.
The Four Seasons New Cairo Capital at Madinaty is being designed by Pierre Yves-Rochon, who has also worked on the Four Seasons George V Paris, Four Seasons Megève, Four Seasons Florence, and more.

Four Seasons Hotel Luxor Location and Amenities
The new Four Seasons Luxor will be a very welcome addition to Luxor, a must-visit destination in Egypt that is considered one of the world's greatest open air museums, together with Cambodia's Angkor Wat and other temples of Angkor.
The Four Seasons Luxor will be located just south of the Luxor Temple, about a 15 minute drive from Luxor Airport (LXR), an 8-10 minute drive from Karnak Temple, and about a 45 minute drive to the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens.
The hotel will offer 200 rooms and suites, all of them with views of the Nile River, the Valley of the Kings, and the Valley of the Queens.
Guests will enjoy several restaurant and bar outlets, a tranquil spa, a fitness center, multiple pools, a complimentary Kids For All Seasons kids' club, and a young adults hangout spot.
WATG Architects will lead the design of the building, with its associated arm Wimberly Interiors overseeing the interiors. Wimberly Interiors has done renovation and revitalization work at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea.
