I Have a Chase Freedom; What Do I Need to Do to Earn 10X on Amazon?
If you haven't already activated your Chase Freedom for Q4 2015, go to the Chase Freedom Activate page to activate your card. If you've already activated your Chase Freedom card for Q4 2015, you don't need to activate it again, you are already enrolled for the promotion.
What If I've Already Maxed Out the $1500 for Q4 2015?
Fortunately, the 10X offer for November 23-December 31 comes with a new $1500 limit. So even if you've already spent the $1500 maximum for the 5X Q4 2015 promotion, earning 7500 points, you're still able to earn 10X on a maximum of $1500 spend at Amazon.com, Zappos.com, Diapers.com and Audible.com between November 23 and December 31, 2015.
When Will the Bonus Points Post to My Account?
Chase Freedom terms and conditions state to allow up to 1-2 billing cycles for the bonus points to be awarded. In practice my points, at least, have always posted within 1 billing cycle.
Which is Better, Cash Back or Ultimate Rewards Points?
It really depends on your travel preferences. We always combine our Chase Freedom points with our other Ultimate Rewards points earned from the Chase Sapphire Preferred and Ink Plus, and these days transfer almost exclusively to Singapore KrisFlyer to redeem for Singapore Suites on the A380, Singapore First Class on the 777-300ER and Singapore Business Class.
But if you don't do any international first class or business class travel, you may well find that cash back suits you better.
