1. Four Seasons Tamarindo, Mexico (April, 2022)

Four Seasons Tamarindo will be the fourth Four Seasons hotel in Mexico, after Four Seasons Punta Mita, Four Seasons Mexico City, and the Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. Set on the largest privately owned nature reserve of any Four Seasons, with only 2% of the reserve developed leaving the remaining 98% wild, it will truly be a special property. We're also thrilled that the General Manager will be Felix Murillo, a nearly thirty year Four Seasons veteran, whom we met at his most recent posting, the gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace, St. Petersburg, Russia.

2. The Peninsula Istanbul (late 2022)

The Peninsula Istanbul will be the 11th Peninsula hotel in the world, the first new Peninsula hotel to open following The Peninsula Paris, which debuted in 2014. Ensconced in a heritage building, the Karaköy Passenger Terminal, which dates to the 1940s, the hotel will offer 177 rooms and suites, many with beautiful water views. Thanks to its location near the Galata Bridge, The Peninsula Istanbul will be a short drive or even walking distance to the historic Sultanahmet district, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace.

3. Hotel La Palma (Oetker Collection), Capri

Aman New York's opening has been delayed by the pandemic, but we're crossing fingers that it opens by the end of 2022. It will be the second urban Aman in the world, after Aman Tokyo.

5. Bvlgari Hotel Roma

Founded in Rome in 1884, the Bulgari brand will at long last open a luxury hotel in the Eternal City, the source of so much of its inspiration. Bvlgari Hotel Rome will be located in the central Piazza Augusto Imperatore, in the heart of the Campo Marzio neighborhood. This is a popular neighborhood for our clients, just a 4 minute walk from the wonderful Portrait Roma luxury boutique hotel, a 6 minute walk to The Spanish Steps, and a 12 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain.

Its location at Graben 21 in Vienna's Old Town puts in only a two minute walk from another Vienna favorite, the Park Hyatt Vienna, and a 15 minute walk from the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien and the MuseumQuartier, while the Belvedere Palace, home to Gustav Klimt's The Kiss, is a short drive or 35 min. walk away.

8. Four Seasons Osaka, Japan

Osaka, the second largest city in Japan, doesn't see nearly as many international visitors as Tokyo and historical Kyoto, so the Four Seasons Osaka is likely to cater more to domestic business and leisure travelers. That said, we've had a number of clients who've enjoyed Osaka stays, and some who have stayed in Osaka when luxury hotel rates in Kyoto have become eye-watering, since it's only a quick half hour train ride to Kyoto.
