The Peninsula Istanbul Opens February 2023

.

The Peninsula Istanbul Will Open February 14, 2023 as the brand's 11th hotel, and The Peninsula's first new hotel since opening The Peninsula Paris in 2014. The hotel comprises four separate buildings, three of them protected historical landmarks that date to the early 1900s.

.

The Peninsula Istanbul Location

The Peninsula Istanbul is located by the Bosphorus at Kemankeş Cd. No. 34 in Beyoğlu, the European side of Istanbul, about a 20 minute drive from Istanbul Airport (IST). The hotel's about a 6-7 minute drive to Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia, and a 9 minute drive from The Blue Mosque. This is closer to the historical sights than the Four Seasons Istanbul at The Bosphorus, but of course not as close as the Four Seasons Sultanahmet, which is only a 3-7 minute walk from these landmarks.

.

The Peninsula Istanbul Rooms and Suites

The hotel will offer 177 rooms and suites, starting with the entry level Superior Room (431-527 sq. ft. / 40-49 sq. m.). We recommend reserving a Superior Bosphorus Room (538-549 sq. ft. / 50-51 sq. m.) at a minimum, to enjoy a sea view. Guests who prefer more space and a terrace should consider an Executive Bosphorus Suite with Terrace (840-915 sq. ft.), located on the ground floor of the main heritage waterfront building, with high ceilings and a ~270 sq. ft. terrace that opens onto a landscaped garden and the Bosphorus, with easy access to the hotel's alfresco restaurant and bar as well as the private yacht deck.

For the best The Peninsula Istanbul has to offer, reserve The Peninsula Suite (5447 sq. ft. / 506 sq. m.), located on the top floor of the southernmost heritage waterfront building. The suite boasts a baby grand piano in the living room, private fitness room and screening room, a hammam in the Marmara marble bathroom, and a ~1290 sq. ft. private rooftop with a private pool and glass enclosed solarium for dining and lounging.

Spa and Fitness

The hotel's wellness facilities encompass a fitness center, 82 foot long indoor swimming pool, hammams (traditional Turkish steam rooms), and spa with eight private treatment. As of May 1, there will also be an 82 foot long outdoor swimming pool framed by lush gardens along the Bosphorus, as well as private cabanas.
