Four Seasons Istanbul at Sultanahmet has reopened following a completed renovation. The hotel is the only luxury property in Istanbul's Old City, and affords magnificent views of the Hagia Sophia Mosque and the Blue Mosque, which are only a 3 minute and 5 minute walk from the hotel, respectively.
The hotel has been reimagined by award-winning design studio Goddard Littlefair, whose other projects include the Mandarin Oriental Vienna and The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. The studio has lightened the color scheme and made the overall styling more contemporary, while still including artwork and subtle touches that reflect the building and setting.
All of the guest rooms have been refurbished with the same language and design intent that filters through the public areas. A true “hidden gem” in Istanbul, guests at Four Seasons Sultanahmet will undoubtedly enjoy a deeply authentic and memorable experience in an environment that instils the best of local culture and values.

The hotel's terrace has also been newly landscaped, with areas for dining and lounging that can be both private and peaceful or lively and animated. From breakfast to dinner, different experiences will be offered throughout the day. The culinary team, led by Turkish Executive Chef Özgür Üstün, offers the best of Anatolian cuisine with the finest local produce at the new AVLU Restaurant, beautifully situated at the heart of the courtyard.
Another draw is the hotel's rooftop bar, Süreyya, with a unique and enviable view of the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, Blue Mosque as well as the striking silhouette of the Old City. In addition to these two hubs, the new Hotel bar Lingo Lingo sits back in the main heart of the building.
The Spa, which reopens 9/1/22, pays tribute to the local tradition of health and well-being by offering guests the opportunity to embrace the experience of a Turkish hammam. A fitness center (already reopened), Turkish barber, and beauty salon complement the spa offerings.
