This Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur India Review is from our India site inspection trip in late 2018. There's a reason why The Oberoi is the most popular luxury hotel in Jaipur: its tranquil resort setting makes it a destination unto itself, while only being about a 30-40 minute drive from many of Jaipur's historical sites, such as the City Palace, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal and Jaigarh Fort.

Here's my Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur Video Review:
While we sadly only managed a brief overnight at The Oberoi Jaipur, we were nevertheless impressed by the service, particularly the magical welcome we received, in the middle of the night no less, and the very helpful and attentive service in the restaurant at both breakfast and lunch. Our Premier Room was comfortable and very quiet, and the air conditioning worked perfectly–critical given daytime highs in the low 90s. Breakfast was a wonderful combination of a cold buffet and hot items made to order; the highlights for us were the Kadhi Kachori, savory fried pastries served with a tangy yogurt gravy to dip it in; and the Dahi Bhalla, a vegetarian street food of lentil balls served with a thick yogurt sauce and tamarind chutneys, garnished with pomegranate seeds.
