Updated: NYC Restaurant Week has been extended until Feb. 28, 2021, or while supplies last. Note that some restaurants may not offer Restaurant Week for February 14, due to Valentine's Day.
NYC Restaurant Week 2021 is a To Go Affair, given the current pandemic. While NYC made outdoor restaurant dining permanent, it's not the most attractive option in the dead of winter, with evening temperatures in the 20s-30s.
Instead of the usual 3 course meal option, participating NYC restaurants are offering $20.21 meals for lunch and/or dinner. And to make the pricing even more attractive, register your MasterCard to receive a $10 statement credit on each transaction of $20.21 or more, up to a total of $100 in statement credits. The promotion is until January 31, 2021, and is available for transactions processed either on the restaurant's own Web site or via Seamless, Grubhub or Tock. Terms state to allow up to 10 business days for the statement credit to appear.
Here are a few picks, each of them $20.21:
Bar Boulud, Upper West Side
Restaurant Week Offer: Choice of coq au vin, timbale of local flounder or mushroom lasagna. All come with a caesar salad side. For an additional $10 each you can add a mushroom soup, chicory salad appetizer, a dark chocolate ganache, or gâteau basque cake.
Nougatine by Jean-Georges, Columbus Circle
Restaurant Week Offer: Flounder with paprika shallot butter, potato ravioli and chives, and a side of sauteed spinach
Gramercy Tavern
Restaurant Week Offer: Mushroom lasagna, minestrone soup and a triple chocolate chunk cookie
Loring Place, Greenwich Village
Restaurant Week Offer: enjoy a special offer on takeout and delivery during lunch or dinner. For just $20.21, you'll get a prix-fixe entrée and at least one side during lunch or dinner. Contact the restaurant for more details.

Fine print says some mastercards are not eligible but i can’t figure out which ones, do you know? For example are only credit cards and not debit cards eligible ?
It’s not clear to us either, but it seems to be available to at least some debit card holders, since one of the terms states: “For transactions on debit cards to be eligible, these must be processed as signature and not PIN transactions.”
