Most Luxury Hotels Restrict Their Complimentary Breakfast Offering to the Restaurant
Keep in mind that the vast majority of luxury hotels restrict their complimentary breakfast for two to breakfasts taken in the hotel restaurant. Logistically, especially if they're devoting considerable resources to a breakfast buffet, they don't want to have the F&B staff also tasked with whipping up a number of a la carte delivery orders, getting them to the rooms hot and in good condition, and dealing with complaints over things missing from the order, not cooked to the guest's liking, etc.

Luxury Hotels That DO Offer Complimentary Breakfast via Room Service
There are a few options for guests who vastly prefer room service breakfasts:
Four Seasons Preferred Partner
Four Seasons is the best bet for guests who want the choice of enjoying their complimentary daily breakfast via room service, as the FSPP breakfast benefit. Each Four Seasons hotel has a slightly different maximum amount that may be ordered via room service, so be sure to clarify that at check-in or for our clients, with TravelSort.

Hilton Impresario
Among the largest U.S.-based hotel chains, Hilton Impresario is the only one that allows guests to enjoy their complimentary breakfast benefit via room service. Marriott STARS, Hyatt Prive, and InterContinental Luxury & Lifestyle only permit the complimentary breakfast to be taken at the restaurant: guests must pay the entire cost of the breakfast if they want it delivered. As noted in our linked post, Hilton Impresario primarily comprises Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR hotels.

Shangri-La Luxury Circle guests can choose to enjoy their complimentary full breakfast via in-room dining. Shangri-La is primarily in Asia, but it does have properties in the Middle East, Australia, Canada, and two in Europe, Shangri-La Paris and Shangri-La The Shard London.

Dorchester Diamond Club also allows guests to enjoy their complimentary full breakfast for two via in-room dining. The main issue is the much smaller footprint of Dorchester, which only has hotels in London, Paris, Milan, Rome, and Beverly Hills/Los Angeles.
