InterContinental Barcelona Location
The InterContinental Barcelona is located at Av. de Rius i Taulet, 1-3, about a 15 minute drive from Barcelona Airport BCN, in the Montjuïc area of Barcelona. The Fundació Joan Miró (Miro museum) is a 16 minute walk, while the Sagrada Familia and Picasso Museum are each a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The Plaza Catalunya is about a 10 minute drive or half hour walk.

InterContinental Barcelona Rooms and Suites
The InterContinental Barcelona has been remodeled and reflagged from its previous incarnation as a Crowne Plaza Barcelona. All rooms are 452 sq. ft. (42 sq. m.) in size, with entry level rooms on lower floors, premium rooms on higher floors, and Club Level rooms with access to the Club Lounge. All suites also enjoy access to the Club Lounge.
For small families, the King Suite with sofa bed is ideal as it accommodates a third guest on the sofa bed in the lounge area, and is 657 sq. ft. (61 sq. m.). The bathroom includes both a walk-in rain shower and soaking tub, whereas regular rooms have a combined bathtub/shower combo.

InterContinental Barcelona Restaurants
173 Rooftop Terrace is bound to be a popular dining venue, weather permitting. It's open 11am-7pm for drinks, Mediterranean fare, and a rooftop swimming pool.

Quirat, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is helmed by Victor Torres, the youngest Spanish chef to be awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant is open exclusively for dinner, with dishes that highlight seasonally available and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant is open nightly from 7:30-11pm.

Arrel, the hotel's all-day-dining restaurant, is open for breakfast, including a breakfast buffet, from 6:30-10:30am, and for lunch and dinner from 12:30-10:30pm. With an open kitchen, diners will have a full view of the chefs at work whilst enjoying a selection of sharing plates.
Additional venues include Gebre Cocktail and More bar with classic and signature cocktails, and the Boira Coffee Lounge.

Spa
The InterContinental Barcelona Spa is one of the most spacious spas in the city, with nearly 13,000 sq. ft. of space for its extensive wet area: steam bath, sauna, hammam, a hydrotherapy pool, jets and water beds. Guests can enjoy massages and facial treatments in six spa treatment rooms, including two couples' rooms.
