Grand Cayman Flights Resume Fall 2021

.

Flights to Grand Cayman GCM from the UK and the U.S. are Resuming This Fall 2021, After an 18 Month Hiatus. As we wrote in our Cayman Islands Reopening Plan post, the Caymans plan a soft reopening in September 2021 to verified fully vaccinated travelers, although in September these visitors will still need to apply on the Travel Cayman Portal and will quarantine for 5 days. British Airways will operate select flights from London Heathrow LHR, with the main nonstop from LHR-GCM available on 9/22. Other BA flights for later dates will stop in Nassau, Bahamas for an hour before continuing on to Grand Cayman.

American Airlines will restart its nonstop Miami MIA to Grand Cayman flights, which are just 1.5 hours, on October 8, although its nonstop Dallas DFW to Grand Cayman flights won't start until November 6, and will only operate Saturdays and Sundays except during festive season. AA's daily nonstop Charlotte CLT to GCM flights will resume November 2.

Delta's Atlanta ATL to GCM nonstop flights start November 20.

JetBlue's New York JFK to GCM nonstop flights start October 2, with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays until festive season, when there are more frequent flights.

United's Newark EWR to GCM flights start October 31, operating daily.

For now, some resorts, such as the Kimpton Seafire Grand Cayman, remain closed, but plan to reopen in concert with the Cayman Islands reopening. Here's a glimpse of the Kimpton Seafire from our site inspection a year and a half ago:
