The Four Seasons Taipei has been announced, with an expected opening date of 2025. The hotel will be Four Seasons' first in Taiwan, and one of about 30 Four Seasons hotels and resorts in the Asia Pacific region.
.
Four Seasons Taipei Location
The hotel will be located on Xinyi Road across from the Taipei 101 tower, the tallest skyscraper in Taiwan, which also held the distinction of being the tallest building in the world from 2004-2009, until the opening of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Taipei 101 is home to offices, restaurants, high-end shopping, and art galleries, making the hotel a convenient base for both business and leisure travelers. It's about 1 hour from Taipei International Airport (TPE), although it can take longer with heavy traffic, and 15-30 minutes from Taipei's Songshan Airport (TSA), which serves domestic and a few international destinations, such as Tokyo HND on ANA, EVA, and JAL, and Seoul GMP and Shanghai SHA on EVA and China Airlines.
.
Four Seasons Taipei Rooms and Amenities
The Four Seasons Taipei will be 591 feet (180 meters) tall, with 31 floors and about 260 light-filled rooms and suites with city and mountain views, with the highest floors offering particularly stellar wraparound views. Select rooms will offer Executive Club Lounge access, making this one of the few Four Seasons hotels to offer a club lounge (others include Four Seasons Hong Kong, Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, Four Seasons Beijing, Four Seasons Tianjin, Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur, and Four Seasons Jakarta).
Dining venues at the Hotel will include a signature Chinese restaurant, a destination bar, specialty restaurant, all-day restaurant, pool bar and lobby lounge. Guests will also enjoy access to a fitness center with an outdoor pool and a spa.
Leading the hotel's design is international architecture firm RSHP, whose work includes The Berkeley Hotel in London, Zurich Airport, Taoyuan Airport's Terminal 3, and a number of office, residential, and mixed use projects in Europe, the U.S., and China.
