Four Seasons Hualalai, Four Seasons Ko Olina Suspend Operations

Four Seasons Hualalai, Hawaii and Four Seasons Ko Olina on Oahu Have Suspended Operations, temporarily. The resorts join several other Hawaii hotels that have also temporarily closed, whether to renovate (The Halekulani) or until later in the fall (Andaz Maui at Wailea, reservations from 10/25/20 and Montage Kapalua, reservations from 10/15/20).

The temporary closures of these Hawaii resorts come on the heels of Hawaii delaying its reopening to October 2020 or later, to the increased number of Covid-19 cases in Hawaii, which to date has seen just under 7000 cases, with daily new cases in the 200-300 range, with a recent positivity rate of 9%, higher than the <5% found in states with greater testing and control of the virus, and 10 times the rate in New York, where Hawaii is on its 14-day quarantine list of restricted states.

Four Seasons Hualalai will take reservations from 12/1/20, although note that dates from 12/19/20-1/4/21 are restricted, since these fall during peak holiday season and are pre-booked by repeat guests who stay at the resort every year during this time.

Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina is currently closed and isn't taking future reservations at all.

As of writing, Four Seasons Maui at Wailea and Four Seasons Lanai are both taking reservations for stays from October 1, 2020.
