Danieli Venezia, a Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is now open, after undergoing an extensive renovation spearheaded by Pierre-Yves Rochon, who has also worked on the Four Seasons Firenze, Florence, Four Seasons George V Paris, Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel and Shangri-La Paris, among other luxury hotels.
The hotel is the fourth Four Seasons in Italy after Four Seasons Florence, Four Seasons Milan, and the Four Seasons Taormina San Domenico Palace in Sicily, of White Lotus fame (see Top 20 Luxury Hotels in Movies and TV Shows). The fifth Four Seasons in Italy will be the Four Seasons Puglia.
The Hotel Danieli, which first opened as Palazzo Dandolo in the late 14th century, is centrally located in the heart of Venice, just a 6 minute walk from St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). Named for Giuseppe Dal Niel of Friuli, known as Danieli, who bought the building in 1824, restored it, and turned it into a hotel, the hotel is currently a Luxury Collection property managed by Marriott. The hotel consists of three buildings: the 14th century Palazzo Dandolo and two 19th century additions that are linked by bridges: Palazzo Casa Nuova and Palazzo Danieli Excelsior.
As an older property, Hotel Danieli has been due for a renovation for some time, so we're happy to see that it's undergone a EUR 30 million renovation, while preserving its palazzo history.

Danieli Venezia Four Seasons Rooms and Suites
Currently, there are 71 guest rooms, 44 suites, and 5 specialty suites. By 2027, there will be 197 guest rooms and 79 suites. Families and couples traveling together will be delighted to know that there will be a number of connecting rooms and connecting suite-room options that face the lagoon.

Restaurant and Bar Terrazza Danieli will serve as the hotel's restaurant, with wonderful lagoon views from the terrace.
