1. Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, Hawaii (The White Lotus)

Mike White's The White Lotus is a social satire, where wealthy and primarily white U.S. tourists descend upon a Hawaii luxury resort, the eponymous White Lotus, where they're serviced by decidedly less well-off and more culturally diverse resort staff. The resulting gender, race, and class power struggles are amplified by the confines of the hotel, which acts as a kind of crucible. And the hotel? None other than the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, which was able to be used for filming in late October 2020 during the pandemic.

In the film, Lisbeth travels to Zurich to transfer funds from corrupt billionaire Wennerström, and checks in to the Dolder Grand, where she stays in the lavish Masina Suite.
