First Republic: $800 for New ATM Rebate Checking Account

First Republic Bank is Offering $800 for a New ATM Checking Account, for new clients, and $800 for existing clients who open a 6-month or longer $10,000 or more CD. While this site is primarily about luxury travel, this is a nice little bonus from our favorite bank that we've personally taken advantage of that has been of interest to some TravelSort Clients, so worth sharing. Here are the details and fine print:

For New First Republic Clients

• You must be located within the First Republic footprint
• Must open a new First Republic ATM Rebate Checking account with a minimum monthly average balance of $25,000 for at least three months and at least 12 client-initiated transactions following account opening date.
• $800 bonus will be awarded after 3 months if the above conditions are met
• A monthly fee (currently $25) will apply if a minimum monthly average balance of $3,500 is not maintained. Ask your banker for details.
• Annual Percentage Yields are 0.005% for accounts with a minimum daily balance of $3,500 and above

For Existing First Republic Clients

• Must add at least $25,000 to existingATM Rebate Checking account and on the same day as these funds are added, open a CD of at least 6 months in duration, with at least $10,000 minimum balance
• $800 will be credited to the First Republic ATM Rebate Checking account after six months of adding the additional $25,000 to the account and opening the CD, provided the account is still open and in good standing with a minimum of $25,000 in additional balances for at least three months.

Note that the above offers are valid until 12/31/18 and may change without notice, may not be combined with any other offers, First Republic employees are not eligible for either of the above offers, and bonuses are reportable for tax purposes in the year credited.
