Air Tahiti Commences Night Flights
One of the issues with getting to Bora Bora has been often needing to stay overnight in Tahiti due to late arriving flights into Papeete (PPT), or killing time near the airport while waiting for a night flight out on the way home.
Fortunately, from October 31, 2023, Air Tahiti will start offering daily night flights. Travelers who arrive later in the day will still be able to connect to an Air Tahiti flight to Bora Bora on the same day, avoiding an overnight in Tahiti. Similarly, new evening flights from Bora Bora to Tahiti will enable guests to enjoy a full last day in Bora Bora and reduce layover time in Tahiti before their international flight departs Papeete. The frequency of these night flights will increase to full capacity in April 2024.
October 31, 2023 – March 27, 2024: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
- Daily flights depart PPT at 7pm for BOB
- Daily flights departing BOB at 8:10pm for PPT
March 28, 2024 – October 23, 2024: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Up to four daily flights departing PPT at 7:00 pm, 7:05 pm, 9:30 pm, and 9:35 pm for BOB
- Twice-daily flights departing BOB at 8:10 pm and 8:15 pm for PPT
