COMO Le Beauvallon Hotel is now open on the French Riviera, one of three COMO hotels in France and one of seven COMO hotels in Europe (there are two COMO hotels in Italy, and two in London). It's a fitting location given COMO's other luxury resorts, which include COMO Parrot Cay in Turks & Caicos, two COMO resorts in the Maldives, three in Bali, and one in Phuket, Thailand.
.
COMO Le Beauvallon Location
COMO Le Beauvallon is in Grimaud on the French Riviera, just over an hour's drive from Nice Airport (NCE), with nonstop flights from many European cities as well as seasonally from ATL, BOS, EWR, IAD, and JFK.
Originally opened in 1914, Le Beauvallon once drew celebrities such as Winston Churchill and Audrey Hepburn. Its location remains exceptional, with some of the best views and access to the Gulf of Saint-Tropez on the entire Cote d’Azur. The main hotel commands a hillside position in a private ten-acre estate of palms, pines and rolling lawns.

.
COMO Le Beauvallon Rooms and Suites
The resort is intimate in size, with only 42 individually designed rooms and suites, many of them featuring pieces from the hotel’s collection of contemporary art.
As at some other COMO resorts, such as COMO Parrot Cay, regular rooms at COMO Le Beauvallon are likely to be disappointing to luxury travelers. Entry-level Superior Rooms are only 194 sq. ft., with a queen size bed and hillside view. Deluxe Rooms have a king bed, but are still small, at 269 sq. ft., also with a hillside view. In our view, the minimum that our clients should consider is a Junior Suite (430-538 sq. ft.) with a king bed, although it's important to note that it can have either a garden or sea view; a sea view isn't guaranteed.
For guests focused on a sea view, the Beauvallon Suite is the way to go. These suites are 538-592 sq. ft., with wonderful natural light and sea views, although it's important to note that it's open plan, with even the shower and bathtub within the space.

.
For families, the Two-Bedroom Sea View Suite (904 sq. ft.) is fortunately more traditional, with two separate bedrooms, each with a fully enclosed bathroom, in addition to the dining and living area.

.
COMO Le Beauvallon Dining and Amenities
The grounds extend down to the hotel’s beach club, Beauvallon Sur Mer, home to a bayside pool, lounge and rooftop bar and the beachfront restaurant. A private jetty allows guests to board a COMO speedboat for a complimentary eight‑minute transfer to Saint‑Tropez, with a second boat offering seamless access to the iconic beaches of Pampelonne.
The resort's culinary concepts are by Chef Yannick Alléno (known for Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc Courchevel, which gave birth to Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc Randheli, Maldives and other Cheval Blanc resorts). The resort's signature restaurant is Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno, with Asian favorites ranging from sushi and sashimi to Black Cod with Miso Sauce, Spicy Thai Beef Salad, and Grilled Capon with a choice of sauces. The Beauvallon Sur Mer Beach Club is an elegant extension of the restaurant. The sea-facing dining areas and a rooftop terrace offer uninterrupted views across the bay.
Other outlets include the Winter Garden for breakfast and all-day dining; the Riviera Terrace for drinks and light snacks; and La Rotonde Lounge and Rooftop for cocktails and small plates.

.
The beach club’s striking 82-foot mosaic pool, reserved exclusively for hotel guests, sits beside a sandy sun‑lounging area with direct access to the beach, forming a serene beachfront enclave. Guests can also discover one of the bayside gardens’ most remarkable architectural features: the 2002 Serpentine Gallery Summer Pavilion by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Toyo Ito. Set against the sea, Ito’s masterpiece appears suspended between sky, water, and light—an emblem of poetic modernism, and a striking backdrop to private events, including weddings.
The COMO Shambhala Spa offers two treatment rooms, with holistic therapies shaped by COMO Shambhala’s expert-led, hands-on approach. Guests can also enjoy a fully equipped gym and daily yoga classes, creating a complete wellbeing experience infused with COMO’s signature focus on restorative living.
