AMEX Offers Can Earn You Bonus Membership Rewards points or provide statement credit if you meet the offer terms. Here's a roundup of some of the most interesting offers I currently see on my AMEX cards. If you just took advantage of the two wine offers, you'd earn 15,000 AMEX points for $500 spend. Assuming a 2 cent valuation per AMEX point (which is fair if you only redeem for international first class or business class) those 15,000 Membership Rewards points are worth $300.

Wondering what to do with your AMEX Membership Rewards points? The best value use, if you value international first class or business class, is transferring to airline partners. Sometimes there are even transfer bonuses, such as the recent 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic, to sweeten the deal. Among my favorite transfer partners are Aeroplan, Singapore KrisFlyer, and Asia Miles, although Award Booking clients sometimes also transfer to Delta SkyMiles, British Airways and Emirates.
