Earn 5X on Grocery Spend with the Chase Sapphire Reserve or United Club card and 3X on groceries with many other Chase cards in May-June 2020. There's a limit of $1500 per calendar month, so if you max out the bonus with your Sapphire Reserve and spend $1500 in May and $1500 in June, you'll earn 15,000 Ultimate Rewards points. Even if you don't spend $1500 per month on groceries, you could buy gift cards that you use at other times of the year.
Keep in mind that if you have a Chase Freedom 5X card, grocery stores earn 5X in Q2 2020, although with that card, there's a $1500 maximum per quarter that earns the 5X.
Also note that if you have the Ink Cash or old Ink Plus card, you can always earn 5X at Whole Foods by buying Whole Foods gift cards at an office supply store, since the Ink Cash and Ink Plus earn 5X per dollar at office supply stores.

Hi Hilary, do you know if the authorized user for Freedom card qualify for another $1500? or is it altogether? Thanks!
Sunny, an authorized user is included in the $1500 limit per quarter, so the limit is per card, not per user. That said, it’s possible for a person to have two Chase Freedom 5X cards (my husband and I each have two cards) so that’s a way to increase your limit. Also, as mentioned in the post, if you also have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you can earn 5X Ultimate Rewards points on up to $1500 of groceries per calendar month in May and June 2020.
