There's a 175K AMEX Platinum card bonus offer, higher than the 80K public offer for the card. The card has a high annual fee of $695, so many travelers won't find it worth keeping past the first year. Here's the offer:
- Earn 175,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after spending $8000 in eligible purchases within the first 6 months of card membership

We're not eligible as we've previously had the AMEX Platinum card; the only AMEX cards we hold now are our no annual fee AMEX Blue Business Plus cards, which we use for all our spend that doesn't earn a category bonus, thanks to its earn rate of 2X Membership Rewards points per dollar.
