JFK-SWISS Lounge Review Terminal 4

This JFK SWISS Business Class Lounge, Terminal 4 Review and Video is part of a new trip report including Singapore A380 Business Class, Lufthansa First Class, SAS Business Class and luxury hotels in Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia and Denmark.

Here's my SWISS Business Class Lounge JFK YouTube Video:

JFK SWISS Business Class Lounge Location and Hours

The SWISS Business Class Lounge is located at JFK's Terminal 4, which is where SWISS, Singapore Airlines, and Asiana depart from. The lounge is on the 4th floor, on the right, after security. The lounge is open most times of the day and night, apart from very early morning and an afternoon break: from 4:30am-12:30pm, and from 2:30pm-2:30am.

The Verdict

We've visited the SWISS Lounge at JFK Terminal 4 several times over the years, and by JFK standards, it's an ok lounge, although too small at peak times for the number of passengers using it. It's certainly better in terms of food and drink options than the Priority Pass Wingtips Lounge, also in Terminal 4. It's handy to be able to have a pre-flight dinner so as to get as much sleep as possible on the short night flight to Europe, but don't expect more than corporate cafeteria-quality food. Also don't count on a shower, since during our summer visit the shower room was out of service. Still, servers during our visit were pleasant and helpful, which isn't always the case in JFK lounges.

If you've visited the SWISS Business Class Lounge at JFK recently, what was your experience?

I’ve enjoyed my few experiences in the Delta SkyClub in T4. Clean, quiet, spacious+not-crowded & there was hot food on offer. I’ve heard that the last 2 are not always the case, but so far so good. And I love the SkyDeck. I’m also looking forward to visting the new Centurion Lounge in the spring.
