Aman Rosa Alpina Now Open

Aman Rosa Alpina is now open in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage protected site. The hotel's design is by Jean-Michel Gathy (Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, Aman New York, Janu Tokyo, Four Seasons Tokyo at Otemachi, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Chedi Andermatt, among many others).

Aman Rosa Alpina Location and Access

Rosa Alpina's location in the Dolomites is at over 5000 feet (1537 meters) above sea level. SkyAlps Airline offers several routes to Bolzano BZO from Berlin Hamburg, Dusseldorf, and seasonally, from London Gatwick LGW, Copenhagen, and several other cities. From Bolzano, it's about a 1 hour 45 min. drive to Rosa Alpina. Most guests will fly into either Venice VCE, about a 3 hour drive away, or Innsbruck INN, about a 2 hour drive away.

Instead of driving, it's also possible to do a helicopter transfer: 22 minutes from Bolzano, 45 minutes from Venice, and 70 minutes from Milan.

The hotel has 51 rooms and suites, making it a good fit size-wise for Aman. For comparison, Amanzoe has 50 pavilions (this excludes the villas that are rented by owners), Amanpulo has 42 casitas (again excluding private villas) and Amanbagh has 37 havelis and pavilions. Aman Rosa Alpina Dining

The Grill offers wood-fired meats, fish and artisanal pizzas. In summer, guests can savor al fresco dining on the open-air terrace.

The Heritage Room serves daily breakfast, fueling guests for active days on the slopes in winter or hikes and outdoor pursuits in summer.

Akari presents an elegant Shabu Shabu (hot pot) dining experience, with a refined Japanese menu and rare sakes in a minimalist setting.

The Di Vino Room is an intimate, reservation-only wine library for private dinners and expert-led tastings.

The Cigar Lounge showcases a curated selection of premium cigars and aged spirits in a discreet setting. Opening for the winter season,

Il Salotto, honoring the previous hotel's piano bar, welcomes guests into a magnificent, double-height space where expansive windows invite the outdoors in; the first of many spaces that frame mountain views. By day it is home to tea, coffee and light refreshments and by night, a vibrant spot for live music and cocktails.

Rosa Alpina Ski Service

Skiers will love Aman Rosa Alpina. The Dolomiti area boasts ~750 miles of groomed slopes, and 450 ski lifts. The resort's Ski Butler service assists with professional ski fitting service for equipment rentals, while the dedicated Ski Lounge provides a seamless experience, complete with heated boot racks and storage. Ice climbing, snowshoeing, winter hiking and ice skating can also be arranged.

Aman Rosa Alpina also offers Kids and Teen Rooms designed to inspire creativity and exploration alongside three private cinema rooms.

The spa area, with its 7 treatment suites, is adults-only. Many of the massages and facials incorporate Aman's line of natural skincare products. In addition to the 65-foot outdoor heated infinity pool, there are two indoor heated swimming pools with garden and forest views – one for families and one exclusively for adults (a significant advantage compared to luxury ski resorts that only have one pool for both families and couples).

Other spa facilities (also adults only) include a jacuzzi, yoga studio, fully equipped gym and hydrotherapy areas including a steam bath, a Finnish sauna, and a cold plunge pool.
