Four Seasons Madrid Opens May 15 2020

.

The New Four Seasons Madrid Will Open May 15, 2020. The first Four Seasons hotel in Spain, it's one of the Best New Luxury Hotel Openings of 2020. The hotel is located in a historic building known as the Palace of La Equitativa, built in 1887-1891 as the headquarters of the La Equitativa insurance company. As a cultural heritage monument, there was a good deal of painstaking restoration work as part of the EUR 530 million project that also encompassed nearby buildings that were joined with the original La Equitativa structure to form the Canalejas Center, which will open in conjunction with the Four Seasons Madrid.

Four Seasons Madrid Rooms and Rates

There are 5 different room types:

  • Superior Courtyard Room (courtyard view, King or 2 Double beds, 484-538 sq. ft., 3rd to 6th floors)
  • Deluxe Alcala King Room (city view facing north toward Alcala St., 484-538 sq. ft., 2nd to 5th floors)
  • Deluxe Sevilla King Room (city view facing south toward Sevilla St., 484-538 sq. ft., 3rd to 6th floors)
  • Premier Room (facing north to Alcala St. or south to Sevilla St., King or 2 Double beds, 592-700 sq. ft., 2nd to 6th floors)
  • Premier Terrace King Room (private terrace, facing north to Alcala St. or south to Sevilla St., 484-538 sq. ft., 5th and 6th floors)

I'd particularly recommend the Premier Terrace King Room when staying in warmer months, requesting the southern exposure, so as to have a private terrace and be guaranteed to be on the 5th or 6th floor
