Campers We Aren't; But Best Glamping in the World? Sign us up! We arrived at night, but even so, the sound of waves on the beach was unmistakable, and there's nothing more soothing than falling asleep to the ocean. Our bed was immaculate, comfortable, and fairy-tale like with its mosquito net gauze, even though the precaution isn't really needed this time of year–we haven't seen or heard a single mosquito.
This is glamping, so there's hot water for the shower and double sinks, an en suite toilet, and the tent is even air conditioned.
The outer reef diving is mesmerizing, with huge schools of fish, colorful corals, and sometimes turtles and reef sharks.
While it would be a shame not to at least snorkel here, even if you don't dive, there are also deer and monkeys that you're likely to see around the camp. You can feed the deer spinach, but don't feed the monkeys.
Tired after underwater or island adventures? Relax in one of the sun loungers, gazing out to sea:
A la carte breakfast features a variety of savory and sweet options, with some of our favorites the mango smoothies, banana pancakes, and ethereal doughnuts with cardamom cream.
Lunches and dinners are also superb; I've never had better soft shell crab or lamb curry.
Don't miss the beautiful sunset in the evening:
