Maximize AMEX Offers for Marriott, Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels with STARS or Hilton Impresario Perks. - Log into AMEX, find the offer and save it to your AMEX card, ideally an AMEX Blue Business Plus, which earns 2X points on all spend
- Spend $500 or more on your enrolled AMEX card at a Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, EDITION, Luxury Collection, W hotel, or JW Marriott hotel to earn a $100 statement credit
- Reservation must be made either directly through the hotel (Web site, phone, app) or via TravelSort or another luxury travel advisor that reserves directly with the hotel. OTA and third party reservations ineligible.
- Offer valid only for above mentioned brands in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean

Within the U.S. there are over 60 participating Marriott STARS hotels and resorts, including Ritz-Carlton hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, St. Regis hotels, EDITION hotels, and Luxury Collection hotels. Some of these are also Virtuoso members, with similar benefits; we can advise TravelSort clients if there is any advantage to reserving a specific hotel with STARS vs. Virtuoso benefits. STARS benefits include:

- Upgrade if available at check-in
- $100 equivalent hotel credit once per stay

W hotels and JW Marriott properties tend to be upper upscale and not true luxury properties, so these brands are accorded Marriott Luminous benefits, which include a welcome amenity, complimentary WiFi, upgrade if available at check-in, and daily breakfast for two, but typically no hotel credit. That said, there are a few exceptions of Luminous hotels that do provide one $100 hotel credit during the stay; here are U.S. and Canada examples that are either a a W hotel or JW Marriott hotel:

- Offer only valid at above brands in the U.S. and U.S. territories
- Reservation must be made either directly through the hotel (Web site, phone, app) or via TravelSort or another luxury travel advisor that reserves directly with the hotel. OTA and third party reservations ineligible.
- Stay and charges to the enrolled AMEX card must take place before 12/31/21.
As with Marriott STARS and Luminous, it makes sense for even Hilton elite members to reserve with Hilton Impresario benefits, since the $100 Hilton Impresario hotel credit is something that Hilton Honors elites wouldn't otherwise get. Also, Hilton HHonors members earn double points for their stay with Hilton Impresario reservations.
Note that while there are several Waldorf Astoria and Conrad hotels in the U.S., such as the Conrad Washington, DC that are eligible for the AMEX offer, the only LXR hotels that are in the U.S. are Oceana Santa Monica and Crockfords Las Vegas.

If you and your travel partner(s) have all enrolled for the AMEX offer and the bill is at least $500 per person when divided, split the bill among all of you so that each of you earns the AMEX statement credit.
