The best deal is 50K Aer Lingus miles (39K AMEX Membership Rewards points using the 30% transfer bonus) each way (taxes PHL-DUB are $136) but the booking process is more cumbersome if you're not used to redeeming Aer Lingus Avios. You'll need an Aer Lingus Aer Club account then you'll need to log in to the Avios site to actually redeem your Aer Club Avios, since the Aer Club site itself only does revenue (paid) bookings.

Where to Stay in Ireland

We recommend The Merrion in Dublin, although only the rooms and suites in the Main House, such as the Deluxe King, Junior Suite, Merrion Suite or Specialty Suite. The hotel's 2-Michelin star restaurant, Patrick Guilbaud is well worth it for a sumptuous lunch or dinner of inspired French cuisine.
