What are the Top Luxury Resorts Available for Dates During Festive Seasons 2019-2020? Many luxury resorts are already sold out for Christmas and New Year's or have onerous 10 day minimum stay requirements. In working on a couple of different client requests for shorter stays at a luxury beach resort, here's a current snapshot of availability that still exists, although keep in mind that availability is dynamic, so there's no guarantee that this will remain for long.
1. Amanera, Dominican Republic: Pool Casita, Jan. 1-5, 2020
January 1 is a Wednesday, so if you're able to take Jan. 1-3 off, you could put together a nice 4 night stay from Jan. 1-5, 2020 in a Pool Casita for $2800++ per night. Pool Casitas enjoy ocean views, a king bed, living area, a private terrace and swimming pool, a bathroom with skylights, twin vanities, freestanding bath and separate shower.

2. Kimpton Seafire, Grand Cayman
Another excellent choice for those looking to escape East Coast cold is Grand Cayman. The Kimpton Seafire is a Virtuoso member, and has several room and suite options still available for Festive Season.
For example, for sample dates of December 21-26, an Oceanview King Room for two is $1550++ per night, an Oceanfront Spa Studio with 2 Queen beds is $1750++ per night, an Oceanview One Bedroom Suite is $3000++ per night, and there are some higher category options as well.

3. Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas: Dates Until Dec. 26
The newest Four Seasons resort is now open: Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. The resort also has availability until December 26, 2019, during festive season, with rates starting at $1450++ per night for an Ocean View Room, up to a Sunrise One Bedroom Suite for $5240++ per night. There's also availability starting from January 2, 2020, although rates are a bit higher.

Four Seasons Maui has many dates available so far this year. For sample dates of December 19-25, 2019, rates start at $1415 + tax per night for a Mountain-side Room, while Deluxe Ocean View Rooms are $2113 + tax per night and a beautiful Oceanfront Prime Suite is $7875 + tax per night.

After December 24, 2019 the Four Seasons Lanai has limited availability until January 2 (there are minimum stay restrictions based on room type and arrival date), but you could squeeze in a short stay prior to December 24. Rates start at $2040 + tax per night for a Garden View Room, while a Prime Oceanfront King will run $3655 + tax per night and the popular Ohana Oceanfront Suites are $8542 + tax per night.

For a more exotic festive season, venture to the Maldives. For sample dates of December 23-29, 2019, The Park Hyatt Maldives has Park Villas for $2500++ per night, Park Pool Villas for $2800++ per night, Park Water Villas for $3400++ per night and Park Sunset Ocean Pool Villas for $3800++ per night.

7. Four Seasons Nevis: Dec. 21-26 or from Dec. 29
The Four Seasons Nevis is sold out for Dec. 26, 27 and 28, but available before or after. For sample dates of Dec. 29-Jan.4, an Ocean View King Room is an average of $1595++ per night, while an Indigo Suite is $3860++ per night, and there are some 3BR, 4BR, 5BR, 6BR residential villas are also available.

Rates start at $1439++ per night for a Beachside King, while a Nevis Peak Suite with Plunge Pool is $2089++ per night.
