The Four Seasons Costa Rica completed an extensive renovation at the end of 2017, just over 2 years ago, so the resort is still fresh and a great destination for active couples and families, as well as for those seeking relaxation. If you're not keen on taking a sea plane from Male, the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a good choice, as it's only a 30 minute speedboat ride away. It's a smaller island than Landaa Giraavaru, but there are still boat trips to great snorkeling sites, and it's also the perfect spot for surfers or those wanting to learn to surf.
