Six Senses Napa Valley

Six Senses Napa Valley

Six Senses Napa Valley Will Open in 2026, potentially as the first Six Senses in the U.S. Previously, there was to be a Six Senses New York, but it will be replaced by Faena New York.

Six Senses Napa Valley Location

Six Senses Napa Valley will be located at 1600 Aetna Springs Road at the site of the former Aetna Springs Resort, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's about a 15 minute drive from Pope Valley Airport (05CL) for private jets, a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Santa Rosa/Sonoma County Airport (STS) with flights from and a 2.5 hour drive from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The resort is about a 40 minute drive from Calistoga, a half hour from St. Helena. Nearby wineries include Pope Valley Winery (9 min.), Summit Lake Vineyards (21 min.) and Cimarossa Wines (26 min.), among others.

Six Senses Napa Valley Rooms and Amenities

The resort, reimagined by architectural firm Olson Kundig, will offer 95 rooms and suites, including ten tent-style structures, with interiors designed by 1508 London, known for their knowledge and unique capabilities in luxury hospitality. There will also be 16 private residences.

The historic mineral springs will be revived with indoor and outdoor thermal experiences and bathing. For anyone new to natural swimming, this is the place to experience the joy of pond floating, belly and spirit buoyant as the sun cuts through the morning mist. Restored greenery will ensure pockets of privacy for a secluded post-swim lounge on the surrounding decks.

Indoor bathing facilities will incorporate local herbs and essential oils into hot and cold therapies as guests relax and rejuvenate, privately or socially. Additional wellness programming includes yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and spa treatments and therapies, all inspired by nature. At the Alchemy Bar, guests can blend spa scrubs and soaps to suit the season and mood, using natural ingredients picked from the resort’s organic garden.

The resort's central gathering place will be the open-plan Dining Hall animated by long communal tables and cozy corners among totem poles for intimate dinners. Well will tempt guests to an informal and open-air space to celebrate the history of Aetna Springs with mineral water bottling and distilling. Oenophiles can savor the region’s best wines, including Napa’s famed Cabernets. The Juice & Brew Bar will offer further taste sensations, with in-house alchemists of the liquid kind crafting homemade and herbal tonics and tinctures, detox juices, artisanal and draft beers, and original and classic cocktail recipes.

When it opens, the Six Senses Napa Valley is expected to be a Virtuoso property, where TravelSort Clients will enjoy amenities such as an upgrade if available at check-in, complimentary breakfast for two, and a resort credit or similar amenity.
