Singapore KrisFlyer Award Chart Devaluation 2019

 

Get Ready for Singapore KrisFlyer Award Chart Changes on January 24, 2019. While not drastic, Singapore Suites / Singapore First Class and Singapore Business Class awards are increasing in terms of the miles required, both the Saver level awards and the more expensive Advantage awards.

Most TravelSort Clients and readers book Singapore Suites, Singapore First Class and Singapore Business Class, so I'll focus on these increases. Note that Zone 13 includes both the East Coast and Houston.

Example 1: U.S. to Singapore Suites / First Class

Current Saver Award: 118,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast, 120,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast

Saver Awards starting 1/24/19: 130,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast, 132,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast (10% increase)

Current Advantage Award: 210,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast, 225,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast

Advantage Awards starting 1/24/19: 222,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast (6% increase), 237,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast (5% increase)

 

Example 2: U.S. to Singapore Business Class

Current Saver Award: 88,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast, 92,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast

Saver Awards starting 1/24/19: 95,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast, 99,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast (8% increase)

Current Advantage Award: 120,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast, 135,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast

Advantage Awards starting 1/24/19: 125,000 KrisFlyer miles from the West Coast (4% increase), 140,000 KrisFlyer miles from the East Coast (4% increase)
