Fly Qatar Qsuites Business Class Award Space to the Middle East and the Maldives in September 2025. While not our favorite business class (we prefer Japan Airlines SkySuite Business Class 777-300ER window seats, thanks to the three windows, privacy, and comfortable mattress pad), Qatar Qsuites has a good hard product, even if service and catering has been inconsistent on our multiple flights. Here's one of our several Qatar QSuites Business Class video reviews:
.
There are several September 2025 dates with 2 award seats between Doha DOH and Atlanta ATL, Boston BOS, Chicago ORD, Dallas DFW, Houston IAH, Los Angeles LAX, Miami MIA, Montreal YUL, New York JFK, San Francisco SFO, Seattle SEA and Washington, DC IAD.

Which Miles and Points to Book Qatar QSuites Award Space
The best way to book this award space, especially if you're hoping to connect onwards from Doha to elsewhere in the Middle East or the Maldives, India, or East Africa, is with Qatar Avios. Once you have a Qatar Privilege Club account, you can link it to your British Airways Executive Club account so as to use the “Combine my Avios” function to transfer BA Avios to Qatar. Keep in mind that Qatar recently increased the fees by ~$150 each way on award tickets, but still well worth it to have access to more connecting award options. Be sure to take advantage of the current 30% AMEX Membership Rewards transfer bonus to British Airways Avios.
It's 70,000 Avios (54,000 Membership Rewards points with the 30% transfer bonus) on nonstop U.S. to Doha flights, while the Maldives, India, and East Africa, if you can find connecting award space, will be 85,000 Avios (66K AMEX points with the bonus) from the U.S., and South Africa and East Asia are 95K Avios (74K AMEX Points with the bonus).

Where to Stay in Doha
If stopping in Doha with enough time to see sights, our recommendation for a luxury hotel stay is the Mandarin Oriental Doha. Get a sense for the hotel with our Mandarin Oriental Doha video review:

Where to Stay in the Maldives
September falls during the rainier season in the Maldives, so there's a higher chance of showers and partly cloudy skies, although even with that chance, the Maldives is still an incredible destination. Fans of manta rays should also strongly consider a stay in Baa Atoll, for example at the Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, since September 1-5 and September 16-20 are expected to be good dates to see manta rays (see Maldives: Best Manta Ray Viewing Dates 2024-2025). Consider staying at a larger resort and in a nicer villa, however, so that there are things to do even if it rains.
We've stayed at eleven different luxury resorts in the Maldives, and our clients have stayed at many others. Our top recommendations are Cheval Blanc Randheli; Velaa Private Island; and the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, all of which we can reserve with Virtuoso or preferred partner benefits.

For a more boutique option on a smaller island with only 26 stand-alone villas, we recommend The Nautilus Maldives:
