The House in Xi'an will be Swire Hotels' 7th property among its House Collective luxury hotels, after The Upper House in Hong Kong, The Opposite House in Beijing, The Temple House in Chengdu, The Middle House in Shanghai, Shenzhen Bay in 2025, and Tokyo in 2027.

The Xi’an property will be located inside the Small Wild Goose Pagoda historical and cultural zone, part of Swire Properties’ mixed-use development Taikoo Li Xi’an. It's located about a 50 minute drive from Xi'an Airport (XIY) and an hour's drive from the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its thousands of terracotta warrior statues.

Slated to open in 2028, the new House in Xi'an will comprise 115 guestrooms and 55 private residences, many with views of the pagoda. Architecture will be by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, with interior design courtesy of Layan, whose projects include The Ritz-Carlton Nikko, The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka, The Chedi Dubai, and The Puli Shanghai, among others.
