This luxury resort opened less than two years ago, and is one of the larger luxury resorts in its destination. Nevertheless, you won't have to worry about noise from your neighbors, as each room or suite is a stand alone villa, complete with its own private pool and ocean view.

While it's certainly possible to relax in your villa or on its deck, there are many other recreation options. Non-motorized water sports are complimentary, whether you want to take out a kayak or try standup paddle boarding, and for a fee, waterskiing, fishing, snorkeling and diving excursions are on offer.

Near the Water Sports Center there's Beach Volleyball, which our teen enjoyed once with some other guests and staff one day:

Tennis players can take lessons with the Tennis Pro, who has previously been ranked one of the Top 100 Players in the World.

Little kids aren't forgotten; there's a complimentary kids' club with a fun climbing structure, water slide, and shallow pool:

After all that activity, you may want to relax by the main pool, which is shallow enough that it heats up nicely during the day. Perfect when paired with a cool drink from the nearby bar.

Also near the main pool is the resort's Japanese restaurant, which serves tasty sushi, sashimi, and other dishes.

Nearby is the resort's Italian and all day dining restaurant, where a bountiful breakfast buffet is served daily. We particularly liked the rotating selection of dim sum, the made-to-order Indian masala dosa, passion fruit yogurt, and the chocolate croissant stuffed with caramel cream.
