Aman New York Opening August 2022

Aman New York Will Open August 2, 2022 in the Crown Building at 57th and 5th Avenue, the original home of MoMA (MoMA is now located on 53rd Street, a 5 minute walk away). Reservations open on July 25, 2022; become a TravelSort Client to enjoy additional amenities with select stays.

This will mark Aman Resorts‘ second urban Aman, after Aman Tokyo, and its third Aman in the U.S., following Amangiri in Utah and Amangani in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Aman New York will offer 83 large suites on the 4th to 10th floors, in addition to its 22 private residences on the 11th-26th floors that are one to six-bedroom apartments. Each of the 83 suites has its own gas fireplace, perfect for chilly fall, winter, and early spring days.

As with Cheval Blanc Randheli, movable partitions allow guests the flexibility to open up suite spaces into an open plan or seclude them for privacy.

The private residences offer access to hotel amenities and outdoor terraces, some with a heated outdoor pool. Jean-Michel Gathy is the interior designer; he's collaborated with Aman previously on Amanwana in Indonesia and Amanyara in Turks & Caicos, as well as Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives and the Chedi Andermatt in Switzerland, among many other luxury hotel projects.

The three story Aman Spa includes an indoor swimming pool, fire pits, sauna and steam rooms, and an outdoor terrace with cabana, daybed, and fireplace.

Aman New York's planned restaurants include Arva, Aman's Italian concept; Nama, which will serve sushi; and a cocktail bar.

Aman New York will be a Virtuoso property. While its amenities haven't been finalized yet and reservations aren't yet being accepted, TravelSort Clients can look forward to perks similar to:
