Aman Niseko Will be Aman Resorts' Fourth Property in Japan, after Aman Tokyo, Amanemu, and Aman Kyoto.
The Niseko region is Japan's most popular ski destination for international visitors, known for its abundant powder and long ski runs. During the summer, Hokkaido offers hiking, mountain biking and river rafting, while autumn sees some of Japan's most stunning foliage.
.
Aman Niseko Location
Aman Niseko will be the only luxury hotel on Mount Moiwa, located about a 2 hour 15 minute drive from the New Chitose Airport (CTS), and close to Niseko Village and Annupuri Village. The recently opened Park Hyatt Niseko is about a 30 minute drive away.
The Moiwa Ski Resort is popular among locals, with its untouched powder runs. The intimate nature of Aman Niseko will afford its fortunate private residence owners and Aman Niseko guests fantastic access to the natural beauty of this area.
.
Aman Niseko Design and Facilities
Aman Niseko will have 30 guest suites, as well as 31 two-story Aman private residences on its land of 462 acres (187 hectares). The resort, as with Amanemu and Aman Kyoto, was designed by the late Kerry Hill, and reflects a quintessentially Japanese spare yet elegant aesthetic.
.
Paying homage to Japan’s traditional inn, or ryokan, Aman Niseko will enjoy views of the surrounding forests and mountains, open fireplaces, a private ofuro soaking tub in each guest suite and onsen (hot spring) facilities.
.
The Aman Spa will provide a full range of massages, facials, and body treatments in the treatment suites. Spa guests can relax in pre-treatment lounges, relaxation pods and thermal spa areas, including dry saunas, a Watsu treatment chamber, cold plunge pools, steam rooms, Moroccan hammam, experience showers (shower spaces with lighting and aromatic effects) and onsen.
Additional facilities include a tea room, an indoor lap pool and an aqua fitness pool, both of which look out onto an outdoor terrace with forest and mountain views.
.
Families aren't forgotten: there will be a two-story kids’ club, an indoor playground, a bowling alley, games zone, theatre, half a basketball court, indoor swimming and wading pools, changing rooms, an outdoor terrace, a toddlers’ play area and a nap room.
